Did Duane Ford and C.J. Ross get their comeuppance for scoring the Pacquiao fight to Bradley? Nah, they got to judge the next two big Mayweather fights.

Kinda glad an appeal is made. Scoring that round for Barker is just huge bias, hopefully his belt becomes invalid and they rematch.

Why should Barker's belt become invalid? He won the fight regardless of how the rounds were scored.

Because he wouldn't have won if the judge scored the round how it clearly should have been? Kinda simple...

If Ortiz is in Eddie Hearn's pocket, you'd think he'd do a better a job of making the score less suspicious. It was a close enough fight where he could have easily given Barker a bunch of the rounds before without anyone batting an eye. Instead, he decided to go for a razor thin score of 114-113 and only to edge it out to Barker in the last round.

Barker won the fight regardless of how the rounds were scored. Why should he be stripped of the belt for a judges' incompetence? That judge obviously scored some rounds for Geale that should have been for Barker too.

All the injustices in boxing and you want THIS fight to be overturned LOL

Ortiz isn't in Hearn's pocket, after the Burns fight Hearn basically threw him under a bus saying he disagreed with his card.

T18Z crapped on Barker the entire fight, he was dismissive of Geale too. I'm not sure why he bothered watching to be honest.

Why has Yafai not had a shot at British & Commonwealth champion Paul Butler yet? This fight needs to be made before the years out!

It won't work for Geale. The only times I can recall decisions being overturned are drugs cases and the odd mismanagement by a referee, like Rahman-Toney 2 or Hopkins-Dawson. Can you imagine the kind of precedent this would set, if fighters could get every close fight retro-actively re-scored and decisions reversed? As mentioned, Geale himself benefitted from a few close ones, and if they want to re-score the 12th the feel he should have won, surely Barker can look through all 3 cards, find a round he should have got but didn't, and launch an appeal over that?
