Matthysse is going to get knocked out? I find that really, really hard to fathom. I haven't seen him remotely stung by a punch yet. No he hasn't exactly faced Tyson yet but Garcia isn't a big puncher himself. He's a decent puncher. He's no slugger.

Matthysse is a beast but also just a man. Anybody can get knocked out. Well placed shot on the chin and its good night.

Boner is wrong on both accounts, but listening to him talk he's an illiterate from the hood anyway. His day is coming if he'd ever grow a set and sign with Maidana. Boner picked a lightweight hitting Welterweight in Paulie Mags because he didn't have the ballz to take on Matthysse, Peterson, Maidana AND Garcia who were all available. Even Shane Mosley laughed and said, "Boner chose wisely. Paulie hits like a lightweight, Boner didn't want a 42 year old Shane Mosley either". Boner didn't want a smaller Gamboa either!!! I'm tired of hearing these gangster wannabe's from the hood (Boner & Floyd) who are so careful who they choose to make a payday on. They talk a lot, then go find some safe opponent. Be fair to Broner. Paulie was/is a well respected first test at Welterweight. It will take Broner 2-3 fights to grow into the weight. By then he will be a force against any at 147lbs.

Garcia didn't just hurt him, he took him out, something that a pure KO puncher like Maidana couldn't do. Kahn has been hurt numerous times, but you take it to another level when you put the finishing touch on it. Garcia is indeed, a big puncher. Did you see the Morales blowout? And I don't wanna hear that "he was 100 years old" BS. Morales was looking good in his comeback until that Garcia rematch.

Hence that when i said "something that Maidana couldn't do" i was referring to the fact that a pure knockout puncher like Maidana couldn't put Kahn away (after landing numerous power shots mind you) while Garcia ended the fight really on one counter, as Kahn never recovered. Pretty impressive coming from someone who "isn't a big puncher". I never said Garcia hits harder than Maidana, which he doesn't.

Cano is ok I wouldn't call him anything special at all. The Paulie fight could of Went either way but he just lost to an old and shot Mosley. Morales beat Cano that's it as he rose up in weight. He lost to Maidana in surprisingly close fight but he lost. He should have hung them up after the first Garcia defeat. Morales just didn't have it anymore he had one last hurrah with Maidana still lost.
