I seriously don't see in Garcia what everybody else who says he can outbox the more technically sound Matthysse sees.

This kid was outboxed at times by an 872 year old Erik Morales in their first fight, FFS. Whereas Matthysse boxed smart and looked great against guys like Alexander and Judah, though with Judah he made the mistake of starting a little too late.

I'm with you. Versus Judah and Alexander both he held his own boxing-wise. He didn't start fast enough, but I think he's definitely the more technically sound of the two. As long as he doesn't go in ******ly trying to knock Danny's head off in 2 rounds, he'll be fine.

I'm not surprised by the predictions. Garcia is the better of the two. I could understand if Matthysse KO'd everyone he has fought but he hasn't and there are fighters who he dropped, that got up and finished on their feet. Not so sure how posters on here think that Garcia is not capable of doing the same. The kid is younger and has some good skills to carry him. Both fighters can improve but Garcia has showed up in his biggest moments so far so need to count him out just because Matthysse is a big puncher. There are many fighters/boxers who had big punches but lost. I'm picking Garcia to win in a fight that may not even be as competitive as most think. Overall I just think Garcia is the smarter of the two.

Garcia swings too wide for Lucas. Lucas will shorten up his punches and catch Danny with a quick punch and drop him. Once Danny is hurt, he will try to retaliate to regain ground and that's where he will lose the fight.

              Lucas clearly lost that fights.
To be honest: Lucas should have learned from those experiences that he needs to fight more like "round-oriented" and not just KO-oriented.
Danny is fine -- but he's too careless with his defense imo and leaves openings which one can't leave while confronting Matthysse. I hope will be more cautious in this one.

you always go into your bag of tricks if you got them. Don't be an idiot.

I think this fight is gonna steal the show ! No weight contriversy and both fighters are gunning to knock each other out!

I got matthyse, but im anticipating thid fight more than the main event bevause i heard in twitter today that Cabelo is having trouble making and sustainig weight. I even heard rumor that he was at 157 today

He is gonna be extremely drained and that worries me. He;s been set uo to fail!

Matthyse Garcis will be fight of the night!

It's crystal clear that this fight doesn't go the distance.
Both fighters are solid counter-punchers, they both swing wide sometimes. Lucas seems more savvy from the inside.

I do agree with this. Matthysse is also open for counters though.
