... And now Mr. Canelo cries out that he is free to come into the fight as a light heavyweight? He would have better just shut up on this one...

Agreed. If he was going to insist on either, it should have been rehydration.

It's canelo's fault for giving the p4p #1 an advantage (weight) should've stuck to his guns, mayweather would've been calling in a year begging for a fight. Who else would he be making 40 mil against!???

Just what weight advantage Canelo did give Floyd? The "advantage" of Floyd coming ant 151 lbs in the fight night?

The big deal is tabloid sensationalism from unnamed writers , look at the headline , Im mean for crying out loud they are going on about early negotiations , did they go on about Manny wanting Cotto at 143 with a rehydration clause after fighting at 147 both sides of Cotto , have they mentioned Canelo had a 150 CW against Hatton and came in just under 152and Canelo paid a weight penalty with Hatton post fight crying how big Canelo was .

Im convinced this website is very bias concerning Floyd , to single him out the way they do over the most trivial trash they can find , and then cant put a name to it like a hating member wrote it .

Does it matter that he asked for it? At this point it is not in effect so its now irrelevant. That is part of negotiating. Mayweather probably offered him an initially smaller purse and canelo wanted more money so they come to the final terms and he gets more.

That is why boxing sucks nowadays , because the likes of Mayweather and Broner are the face of boxing , No respectful person can respect them .

Even tennis is a more popular sport world wide with FACES like Nadal, Federer or Djokovic
