Top Rank matchmaker Brad Goodman has advised BoxingScene.com that former unified lightweight champion Juan "Baby Bull" Diaz (37-4) will face Juan Santiago (14-10-1) on October 19th on the Mike Alvarado-Ruslan Provodnikov non-televised undercard. The fight is contracted to take place at 136 pounds.
Diaz is 2-0 since ending his retirement earlier this year. He last fought in August when he defeated Adailton De Jesus via TKO. The Houston, TX native is looking to fight for a world title in 2014.
