I would imagine elephant man Ellerbe will have made sure there are severe penalties in the contract for exceeding the specified weight, so that Alvarez doesn't even think about it.

Respectfully I think you are looking at this in a completely backwards way. Stepping in the ring he is in position to lose his "0".The months of planning, preparation, and most importantly MONEY INVESTED in this fight is not ging to be wasted if Canelo comes in over.

      Come on dude!

If he's over, then he'll barely be over, but not for want of trying.
The people saying about how Oscar will pay his fines are deluded, if that is the case then why didn't Oscar just pay the fines for his fight against Pac and not come in like a zombie?

Oscar made the rules in the Pac; none of that was on Manny. The way Oscar went about making 147 was horrible he was at his weight weeks before the fight.

don't get me wrong I don't think he is scared to lose his 0. I respect floyd and believe he is the best in the world right now. But every one has limits. If this dude comes in that much over the limit I think floyd has every right to bail. You sign for a contracted weight you make it thats it.

The only way the fight gets canceled is if somebody loses a arm or leg. I'm here in Vegas I can't explain the atmosphere right trust me they ain't canceling the fight over weight.

Yea but Canelo will be forced to watch DLH dance around in his fishnet stockings as punishment.
