WBC welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. (44-0, 26KOs) rejected the recent claims by WBC/WBA 154-pound champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (42-0-1, 30KOs), who said Mayweather was "very worried" about their upcoming fight on Saturday night at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Mayweather broke down Canelo's record and said he wasn't impressed with the Mexican fighter's level of competition.
LMAO this is so true. Not only did he fight their brother's but he also made them go up in weight. Jose Cotto went up 12Lbs. Mattew Hatton also went up 1 or two weight classes. Jose Cotto had Canelo in all types of trouble almost knocking him out in the 1st round.
!~
Not only that, Canelo came above the agreed weight of 150, which was pathetic and a dirty tactic, Hatton was stitched up good and proper by a much much bigger man. So much disrespect shown to Hatton, i'd say it was borderline cheating as he didn't make the agreed weight
