I find it interesting that you want to take comments that Floyd has said in the past and hold them against him, but at the same time you want to ignore or dismiss the comments Alvarez made about fighting Mayweather at 150 two years ago as not important.


Comments like the ones you quoted only matter to haters like you. They don't change the fact that Mayweather is the P4P best, the highest paid athlete in the world and the only man to get paid an average of over $30 million per fight.

It's easy to take these quotes out of context and make them sound like he avoided the best fighters, when he didn't. He didn't duck Pacquiao, Pac didn't really want to fight, otherwise he would have taken the test and signed the contract. He "handpicks" opponents to get money. If the people want it, he handpicks them, IF THEY WANT TO FIGHT HIM. Pac didn't want none of Floyd, period.

well when you are as critically acclaimed and have the pedigree and background of floyd you have to fight somebody eventually.

Nevertheless, floyd started his career out with top rank, a company notorious for babying their fighters and padding their records. This isnt really even arguable.
