What would your gameplan be for Canelo to beat Mayweather Jr?

If you got to decide how Canelo fought with his attributes and weaknesses vs Mayweathers. What would you command him to do?

I say you aint ever gonna out boxing him so you gotta turn it into a fight, really pressure him get in his face, never loose your defence though as you pressure fight, and cut down the ring Tyson style if he starts to run, use your superior strength in the clinch, smack him about up close where you have the advantage, and if you are definately gonna loose anyway foul foul foul! Punch him in the nuts as you head but him in the face, elbow his face when you "miss a hook" stamp on his feet with you big cynderblock feet, initiate a hug as a way to show you are sorry, then sucker punch him in the jaw.

I would get Chepo to ask the ref a question in between a round and have Chepo JR slide in and hit Floyd with the WBC belt and slide out.

Feint, jab, throw to the head and body and work inside when he tries to tie you up.

when you're at a distance stay defensively tight because floyd will most likely try to shoot straight rights and lead left hooks during lulls in the action.

if he tries to play on the ropes, make the shots count and get out of there, he'll usually be cute for a second on the ropes, then look to counter. So get your shots off and get off to the side.

I think that Canelo should hit him more, than Floyd will hit Canelo. What better strategy can you have than that.

I would say make Floyd miss, much easier said than done but Floyd always gets his if you can force him to go outside his normal box his defense may open up a bit. Going straight into the teeth of his defense is a mistake and guys always try to beat him that way, but who has really tried to defuse Floyd's offense.

I think Canelo has a bit of a defensive game maybe not enough to get the job done but I do think it is worth him at least trying that.

Stop on his feet, hit his arms and shoulders and then turn up the pressure.
