I dont think its nerves man,i just think that he is a little irritataded by the fact that hes the undefeated champ, and he is a 2.5-1 underdog..and to be honest its dispespectful...as far as the dancing and rapping goes he exited to see wut the hype is behind the man they call the machine..imo

Thanks and I will tell you why I'm leaning towards Garcia.

Yes Mathysse is a beast with incredible punching power, but he has holes in his game. He has gotten better in the way he pressures, it's more intelligent and better defensively.

The problem is he still throws wide shots, and leaves himself very open for counters. Now this is still dangerous for Danny because Mathysse' power is so good, that one of those wining shots could end the fight.

I think if Danny keeps his head, boxes and uses his jab and movement, I think he has a good chance the longer the fight goes. What worries me about Danny is he is a warrior, he's a tough kid and when he gets hit, will he launch in and want to exchange?

He can't afford to let his pride get in the way of this fight. I don't know Angel Garcia's training methods, especially psychologically, but I wonder if he's telling Danny the right things and strategy. Danny cannot get into a fight with Lucas, he needs to use his skills to take this fight into the later rounds and box him, and hopefully catch him with a big shot and change the fight late.

I hear you...If I was Danny, I'd be a bit irritated too being the champ and all...but you have to admit, Danny's persona is totally different than what we've ever seen out of him in the past. That's got to be attributed to something. I don't think it'll take long to see where his head is once that bell rings on Saturday.
However, the odds being so much against Danny isn't a matter of disrespect - those little old men in Vegas care for nothing except for making money, and it seems theirs is on Matthysse.

Call me crazy but I feel Danny has to take a big risk in the beginning of the fight. He has to make Matthysse at least respect his power which means getting in close. If he doesn't Matthysse could end up walking him down. Plus Matthysse is good at forcing people to exchange. Look at how he was roughing up Peterson and forcing him to exchange.

And what has Lucas done? Peterson? Khan was just the biggest on his resume, he's been going up against notable comp since his 16th fight. And if I remember right that same Morales went in on maidana

                  You are crazy...hahah

No man, he can't do that, not consciously. If he comes forward early on, he risks getting knocked out. Let's remember, most knockouts happen in the earlier rounds for a reason, fighters are fresh.

Mathysse is going to come forward regardless, so that's not even an issue. What Danny has to do is weather the storm early on, use different tactics to keep Mathysse off balance and thinking. If he just comes forward and decides that he needs to convince Mathysse to respect him, yes it MIGHT work but why risk it?

Take him to the deep waters, make him work for everything and take that power away from him. Force him to beat you with skill and technique, not power.

you got to look at the opponent not ,the fact that hes fighting an unheard of ajose for an interim belt,or koing a barely known dallas jr man....judah and alexander fight were way bigger fights...msthysse is getting tkos buddy not ko's know the difference, dallas is the only one he ko'd everyone else lost on a technacality...garcia would of ko'd dallas too
