RIP Dean Powell
Just saw this on Boxrec i am completely shocked did he have an illness? Dean dedicated his life to the sport of boxing and I'm sure if you ask any British fighter whose worked with him they would all have positive things to say about this great man. RIP Dean you will be missed

Highly regarded manager, matchmaker and cornerman Dean Powell has sadly passed away.
A statement from Frank Warren Promotions posted on Twitter said:
"All of us are deeply saddened and shocked by the loss of our very close friend and colleague.
"Dean was a valued and popular member of our team and within the sport of boxing.
"Our thoughts are with Dean's family and friends in this sad time."
Dean worked the corners of Ian Lewison and JJ Ojuederie at the York Hall on Saturday. He will be sadly missed by the boxing community.
