I've got power, decent speed but I'm not too keen on getting punched in the face, maybe if I grew up in poverty.

Probably not, but it's a sport in which I wish I had partaken growing up.

I'm pretty sure 99% of posters on here never even had an Amateur bout, and less than that had any sparring sessions.

You wouldn't call a pro boxer 'coward', 'ducker' or any of the other ****** names if they had.

I had a few amateur fights & I can tell you it takes a special breed to fight properly in the ring.

A pro with a 10-99 record would be the crap out of 99% of the posters on this site.

And, yes, I was crap. I was fast but ******. I'm a much better fighter in my 40's than I was in my teens & have outboxed a few 20 something colleagues in fun bouts.

                  Its all about the jab.

As TS stated - with a right training, could you become pro boxer?. so the answer would be easy - any one can. you don't born to become champion - you train for it. of course unless you born with some defects and illness, that prevent you from training
