The flyweight silver champion of World Boxing Council (WBC), Panamanian Luis "El Nica" Concepcion (29-3, 21KOs) was involved in a head-on car accident in the province of Chiriqui, Panama. Rogelio Espiño, the legal adviser of Concepción, confirmed that his client had collided with a taxi and fortunately he had no serious injuries. He was given a breath test for alcohol and passed. Concepcion faces Carlos Ruben Dario Ruiz (17-2, 10KOs) on October 19th in Panama City.
