I mean most of the top p4p guys only fight like twice a year at most and it seems like a long ass wait for every damn top popular fighter around to fight fighters need to fight more imo
Who would they fight? The top of the p4p list has very few competitive bouts avail because of the skill difference, they fight less because A. they can and B. Lack of credible opponents.

I disagree 100%. They ought to fight 3-5 times a year even if there aren't "credible" opponents. One they develop their skills by fighting. Real fights are not equal to sparing. Second they're building their brand name. Third, by fighting "not credible" opponents they are helping these "not credible" opponents develop their skills. Fourth this is called "clearing out" your division.
Second Mayweather and other top fighters have TONS of available fights. Clear out your ****ING division and then talk about no credible opponents. Another thing, if you're all that then stop fighting in catch-weights, um ... excuse me: super-welterweight, super-middleweight and other "super" weight divisions.
Let's be honest, if we were making Mayweather money per fight (around 30-40 million), we probably won't be fighting at all after we fight that one time. Which is why I appreciate the fighters that make millions still train like they're broke. It's hard to be that motivated to fight when you have everything.
