Its logic and logic doesn't fit into this forum very well .
Manny fought at 147 before and after Cotto , yet demanded the 145 CW for Cottos title , and then later called Cotto out for a rematch and ducked the fight when Cotto said no CW .
Oscar had not made 147 for over 10 years , and had not been 147 on fight night since he was a LW , needed IV fluids to gain 2 lbs , that's deadman walking !
Margo is bigger than Canelo and last fought at WW the same time Canelo fought at WW , Margo was then KOed and retired for 2 yrs came back at 154 and then CWed to 150 for the same title Floyd is fighting for .
The flip flopping of Manny fans is a joke , they have nothing to crow about concerning CWs , I guess since Manny was knocked out they have nothing to do but hate on Floyd , look at Manny threads there arnt any . -
Considering this is a UNIFICATION fight idk see why there is a need for a CW. Both guys are champions at 154. It's not like Floyd's never fought at jr mw before.Comment

The titles is irrelevant to the fight , its about the guys themselves and the size relationships between them , all your trying to do is use titles like it makes the fight different , well then if that's the case you better get on Manny for forcing Cotto to 145 CW for the WT after he fought before and after Cotto at 147 , Im sure Cotto did not want 145 .
Same for Margo , Manny fought him for a 154 title at 150 , and he is bigger than Canelo .
You cant bag Floyd and praise Manny concerning CWS , it only shows what a fanboy one really is to do so , I don't think anybody likes to see CWs I know I don't , but the hate on this one is over the top .Comment

This guy is a f'kin idiot. He's talking about catch weights only being bad if the fighter makes it a habit for most of his fight. He uses PAC as an example and fails to state mayweather cheating JMM with a catch weight.

The manny catchweight with cotto and floyd's with canelo are total BS IMO
manny should have fought cotto at 147 and floyd should have fought at 154 vs canelo
but the oscar fight gets overblown,, oscar wanted to come to 147 and cherrypick a smaller fighter to relive past glory ala his fights vs chavez, leija, genaro, etc...
Oscar called all the shots for the fight and manny agreed,, it backfired on oscar, but manny cant be held responsible, it was oscar's fault...
Margs also gets overblown, Margs was career welter, and the only reason it was fought at 150 was so manny could get his hands on a bullcrap vacant belt in his 8th division.... i dont think margs was drained in that fight,, It wasnt a CW to drain a guy, it was a CW so manny could get an 8th division title,,,
