Cruiserweight Grigory Drozd (36-1, 25KOs) is taking no chances with his upcoming fight against undefeated highly regarded Mateusz Masternak (30-0, 22KOs) of Poland. Two weeks ago it was reported that 28-year-old Ukrainian contender Ismayl Sillakh (21-1, 17KOs) would help Drozd prepare for the fight. Now it's become known that former WBA interim-champion Valery Brudov (41-4, 28KOs) is also going to help Drozd prepare. Drozd-Masternak will be held on October 5 in Moscow as part of the mega-event that features WBO/IBO/WBA/IBF heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko vs. mandatory challenger Alexander Povetkin.
