    Hopkins-Golovkin at light-heavy - who wins?

I've just seen a video of Hopkins on Ring Digital's channel via YouTube, he claims Golovkin has called him out at 175lbs.

I think Hopkins takes him to school.

    Who do you have winning?

no clue how GGG would look at LHW
easy to go with Hopkins on this one
but Hopkins should stay away from Kovalev
he's too old to deal with a big, strong KO puncher
GGG shouldn't leave MW without running down Sergio for a shot

In today's era, GGG could fight at JMW. His fight night weight is even less than Canelo.

      I'd have to take Hopkins.

I like GGG. He has the *potential* for being a HOFer - he may even be an ATG. But we don't know. Let him get by Stevens (show he can take a punch) or better yet show that he can avoid a punch if he wants to.

Let him take out Martinez and Quillin and Sturm and Chavez and a couple more and then let's talk about GGG and Hopkins in the same breath.

Now - is it possible that next year (after beating Stevens and another good fighter) GGG may be able to beat a 49 year old Hopkins. Yes. Maybe. Youth will win out sooner or later.

I like GGG. I think that Hopkins is an ass (at least his public persona) but lets not forget that Hopkins is an ATG and GGG hasn't proved himself yet.

Ridiculous matchup. But everybody wants the money I guess.

I think GGG would beat him if he comes in the ring at his usually weight. If he blows up to a full light heavyweight I think it might make him slower and sluggish. Apparently he can make 154 if he wants to so he should keep his weight low. He should just come in the ring at the same weight he does now for his middleweight fights. I think he would be more than the great but 48 Hopkins could handle.
