Yeah he's still a draw in his hometown, but you won't see the top guys here rushing to fight him in the UK, his only option is Beltran.

Terrance, Roidboa, and Vazquez won't be showing themselves over there.

What a bitch. Props for fighting with a broken jaw, but he clearly lost and now wants to keep the belt hostage in his country.

Hearn and co have said a Crawford fight would be in the US so no problems with that

            Who is Beltrans' promoter?

This fight can't headline or sell anywhere in the U.S.

Burns was supposed to fight Crawford at MSG I believe. Vasquez was already coming to the UK to face Burns so I fully expect he would again if the money was right.

Top guys or not, Burns will have several options. Beltran has no real route back into a big fight other than swallowing his pride and going back to Scotland.

That hasn't stopped a **** load of fights from happening. Barker vs Geale for example. If they somehow manage to get HBO or Showtime money, it's doable. If Beltran beats Crawford, HBO would probably be willing.

You need to understand that Ricky Burns couldn't give a brown shit as to where the fight would be held.

Putting it in the US makes no sense. Beltran cannot draw a crowd there. He's the victim of his own willingness to fight anyone, anywhere.

Stick it on an undercard and you lose out on a 7-9k crowd and TV money. That doesn't make sense either. But one thing is for sure, Ricky Burns is not ducking Beltran. He said straight away that he'd give him a rematch.

Are you serious? Beltran just became a hot commodity for the boxing networks here, everybody is gonna talk about him getting robbed in the UK, he won't have trouble fighting a top contender here.

So he'll fight Crawford an unknown fighter on the rise, but he won't fight Beltran, I guess you might as well be compensated when ass whooping is headed your way.
