Most of this is just Oscar being the Promoter and selling the fight, I am sure Mayweather knows that as well. At the end of the day they all are going to make a lot of money from this regardless who wins

but yeah I do think Oscar is jealous of Mayweather's longevity and I do think Oscar clearly misses the spotlight and the attention he got as the Top Draw when he was a fighter

Sugar Ray Robinson did not start as a 130 lb'der. He was a Welterweight. So you want Floyd to got from 130 to 161 - that's 4 divisions. the only fighter that I can think of in recent history (last 10 to 15 years) that have done that with success is Roy Jones Jr and that was because he fought a paper champ in John Ruiz. If Floyd did fight Martinez or GGG at 154 he still would win. Martinez is good but not as good as you think. GGG is a good fighter as well. He's very balanced. I think he would give Floyd a good fight but he won't beat him. The only way GGG, Martinez and even Canelo beats Floyd is to KO him. You can't hit what you can't see. Floyd has survived this long by boxing not standing in front of someone to be hit cleanly.
Remember the bigger the guys the harder the punch. So to me a guy who starts at lets say 115 lbs and goes to 140 lbs can't really be compared to someone starting at 130 going to 154. The power and punch is totally different.
I bet you want Floyd to fight Tyson Fury or Deontay Wilder next. It kind of reminds me of a comment Roy Jones Jr made during his prime - "People just want to see me bleed".

I'm sure what Oscar said about Canelo's winning touched Canelo's heart........but I hope Canelo knows Oscar had touched the hearts of Ortiz, Guerrero, and now him with the same words about beating Floyd. In other words, Canelo shouldn't feel too special......Oscar says this about every Floyd opponent.
