No but neither was 40 year old marquez. He showed he can hang and beat and outbox and hurt a prime many. It was a matter of time before he finally finished him or vice versa.

Prime = no, still one of the best at it? = yes

Pac's top of prime fight was the Cotto fight, midway toward bottom was the Margarito fight. Then, went all downhill starting with the Mosley fight where he looked sluggish, and just cashing it in. No more killer instinct to end guys

              No, just, no...

Marquez was 40 years old, fighting at 147 where he looked fat and sloppy against Floyd. Pacquiao looked better than he ever had before he got laid out, while Marquez looked every bit of his 40 years.

Pac stans love to believe that fight was on even terms but it was NOT!

Mindset has been lacking for a while but definitely physically in prime. With his kamikaze style, he's always open to get clocked...if you have the power!

All u need to do is look at his punch stats for previous fights. His volume has been dropping fairly consistently for some time. I say he was way past prime.

absolutely not. he was still a very good fighter, though.

he couldn't put it together for 12 rounds since the margarito fight. he had sipped considerably since then.
