Canelo will most probably weigh in at 154 anyway, the fine will be worth the advantages he will have in the ring.

Regardless, he was a middleweight fighter... just like you're saying floyd is a 154 pounder..

De la hoya went from 154lbs to 145lbs for manny...

Canelo is going from 153 on weigh ins to 152...

        HARDLY THE SAME?

If Manny brings de la hoya to 145lbs.. and it's okay..

Maybe Canelo should of came to 145lbs?
My man, I like Floyd too, but Manny did not drag Oscar to 145 pounds.

Check De La Hoya's weigh in weight for the Pacquiao fight.

Yes, but Oscar was the star and called the shots. He tried to cherypick a new lightweight and it backfired. Manny could have never told De La Hoya "you have to fight me at 147 and weigh in at 145", he had no power at that point in his career in comparison to Oscar.

Why would Oscar want to fight Pacquiao at 147..

Pacquiao was a much harder puncher at 147 than Oscar was...

Oscar was no longer a star when he fought pacquiao...

What speed? he looked like a slow old man with no footwork...

it was his last shot for money..

Why would he want the Mayweather fight at 154 and the Pacquiao one at 147.. makes no sense. he'd be faster at 147 than at 145.

Who cares. The better fighter will win the bout, simple as that. People just want a reason to get up in arms and argue with one another.
