Props? More like he's smart enough to avoid the heat from fans around the world and he understands that his credibility will suffer if he tries to get cute.
Either way last nights decision delivered another black eye to the sport and will make fighters think twice before fighting in that part of the world. If they man up like they should and grant Ray a re-match they should keep it right here in the USA and hire honest judges with no agenda.
It was a Hispanic American judge that gave the fight to Burns, I'm from Scotland and our country is gutted for Beltran, class act in the ring and out!
That's like saying, it was a Euro judge, couldn't have robbed the Brit guy. Turns out the judge was French. Or in his case, probably Puerto Rican, which probably wouldn't make him biased for the Mexican dude.

Fair enough, its just a shame that a bad decision by an American judge has damaged Scotlands sporting integrity, and more important cost Beltran the title.
I hope he gets a rematch but Burns might have to retire if his jaw wont heel

No doubt Ortiz needs to be investigated, but officiating was bad all around. The British judge had it a draw, and the ref was allowing a crazy amount of holding.

Totally agree I think the ref was scared to upset the large vocal crowd but its no excuse when your refereeing a world title fight, I don't blame Burns for holding though, the x-ray pictures of his jaw was frightening!
