You think so little of Alvarez that you think it would take Alvarez 50 fights and five years as a world champion before Alvarez is finally ready to fight a guy who should have retired seven years earlier. What a crock of s...t!
So you are agreeing that Floyd waited and fought an old Mosley? years before, Floyd said NO (late 2006 to 2009)

Floyd wanted an even greener Canelo a year or two ago but Canelo's team told Canelo he needs more time.

Floyd has 5 fights left right? So why not wait another year? Remember that he said that (wait) to Cotto in 2007 and to Mosley in 2007 and 2008 and 2009

I like the fact that Doug or any other boxing "expert" made the case for the underdog.

Ultimately what he is saying is that Floyd is too old to go this high in weight, and that he sees tremendous improvement in Canelo from fight to fight.

But this pretty much goes along with what Doug has said many times in the past, which is that Floyd is small even at welter.

I agree with both points. Im just not sure if Canelo will have improved enough, skillwise, to make full use of his advantages.

Im calling draw. I fully expect it to be Floyd's hardest fight of his career.
