My thoughts exactly. It's not a matter of "talent and skill". Trash Burns all you want, call him an exposed bum or whatever, he still has a couple of very decent wins, unlike Crawford.

Rigo was always more "talented and skilled" than Donaire, yet no one was saying Donaire needs to "earn" a shot at him. They were saying he needs to give him a shot.

      No one else At 135
It's hard to say who's the best at 135, I wouldn't put Crawford ahead of Gamboa. Gamboa has had much better opposition than Crowford has had at this point.

It's about the HBO date. That's something to earn, provided you want it. LW is a very weak weight class and Crawford is the only guy HBO wants to feature. For good reason IMO, top talent. He's not asking for big money, and he's only had 2 fights on the network, only 1 a showcase (undercard). His next fight is vs the winner of Beltran Burns probably, Beltran. So he's not being built up slowly.

Have you ever seen him fight? I'd pick him to whoop Broner's arse should he venture back to lw. Judging by his size in the All Access episode last night, I don't think he will be back that low again.

              Opposition doesn't = skill....some people obviously don't get that.

If he was Berto, he'd be making 1m for some bum Burns beat. Instead he fights the winner of Burns Beltran for a fraction of that

Who the hell besides Kellerman is really hyping him up? Most NSBers agreed he looked like a talented guy against Prescott, nothing more. You see nuthugging muppets posting threads on Crawford?
