    When Floyd does eventually retire...

do you think we will ever see another 'cash cow' like him in America? Someone who can command the guarantees like he does and who accumulates the wealth and exposure that he does in the sport? Having just watched All Access it got me thinking that, once he has gone, there is no one with the 'personality' who will command the limelight like he does.

It defintely won't be Adrien Broner that's for sure...

I don't think there will be an American fighter that will make the money he has made anytime soon. I think the main reason he make so much money is his skill in the ring and his undefeated record rather than his personality which sort of stinks in my opinion. If Canelo beats him he will be huge but he is not an American fighter of course.

I don't see anyone in the future doing it for another 15yrs. Just look at the last superstar mike tyson it took like 10 yrs for mayweather to take over. Plus he has all the combinations needed to do what he has..out spoken, superb boxing skills, smart entrepreneur etc. ..im just happy to witness one of the all time greatest do his thing

That's true, and 50cent also said in an interview, (I know they fell out) but he stated Floyd isn't nowhere near as wealthy as he makes out to be, this is a guy who knows Floyd inside out and he remained polite about it but did state he isn't all he makes out to be.

If Tyson, and Lewis were fighting in todays ERA, and the likes of some of the other legends, had they been undefeated, they would accumulate near enough the same, Tyson I think would have surpassed Floyd badly.

let's hope not, the last thing we need is another Floyd
tired of this p4p, cash cow, money grubbing garbage
we need guys like GGG, Lucas, Quillin, etc
stars to hardcore fans, but not big mainstream names
all that does is turn them soft and make them picky about fights
tired of PPV, it's a ripoff that top to bottom, rarely delivers
just give us good, exciting fighters, not "big draws," sick of that crap

Just as long as we don't get a ****** youth from England using that ****** blueprint, boxing will be ok.
