Mitchell isn't that experienced, what Arreola did wasn't that surprising. The theory does hold some weight, the best athletes in America go to American Football and Basketball. We can also say many of Europe, New Zealand, Australia and other countries have their best athletes go to other sports too. AFL, Rugby Union, Rugby League and Soccer has many potential top fighters as well. A lot of this talk is speculation.

The only boxer who could give this any weight is Zibikowski because he had an extensive amateur career and he's a pro.
Don't know why i bothered saying that sine you're clearly trolling

Yeah but slim what you are forgetting is that Mitchell picked up the sport late

if he'd started early he'd of developed an iron chin and heart.

Americans look at good athletes and think they'll be good at any sport, they don't think about a little thing called skill.

Well Maravilla started boxing at an age past 20 I believe. He played football. It's not like he's done too badly, is it?

Of course if you do a sport and change it very late in your career, then chances are you won't be as good. Look at Michael Jordan and his baseball stint.

A couple months ago I've had an argument with some nutjob who tried to convience me that if Lebron ever turned pro he would be the greatest heavyweight ever.

There was no current/former NFL player that partook in last night's boxing match.

                    Your argument is invalid, sir.
