He did thank God first, so that sounded like a contradiction. Maybe his intent was to say "...even though I put in the hard work, not God."

Chris knew he was not supposed to lose and he proved it in Ernest.

Great win for Arreola against an overrated bum but I would like to see Arreola in even better shape. He lost wait but he's still carrying blubber around his gut. And just because most of you here are probably fat, don't come to Chris' defense, this is professional prize fighting and you know the heavyweight champs of the past in their prime did not come into the ring with love handles.

Not all fighters have the genetics to come into the ring with a ***ing six pack. Larry holmes always looked abit flabby.

Arreola did prove that you can't enter this sport late and win...especially if you have a weak chin. Mitchell was intimidated from the start, and add to the fact that he also just can't fight.

Arreola has the heart, and some skill, but his variety of punches, and how he throws them is something that he can never change-ever.

Regarding Rafael Marquez, I believe this should be the end of the road. It is sad to see how much he has slided (looking even older than his real age: 38 yrs old). I know he signed a contract with GBP (I think it was 4 fights) but it would be much better to stop right now and not suffering another bad defeat like he did last night. Rafa Marquez has always been a warrior of the ring and his health and integrity should be the most important factor to hang the gloves forever.
