Blame the politics of boxing.
Ricky lost, we all know that. He knows that, but he showed courage and that is a mark of a man.
This isn't a fault of the UK it's a fault of boxing in general. All countries can be accused of this. We've seen these dreadful decisions all over the world and I honestly don't know how we can change things. It's a bad mark on the sport we all love.
Hearing Rays post fight interview was, quite frankly, heart breaking.
I do hope, somehow, the sport of boxing can pull its socks up. This is a living for the fighters we admire, respect and love so much. To rob them is to rob the fans, the sport and the reputation of boxing as a whole.
Such a shame. But props to both men, as ever, it's the fighters that are the ones we continue to have our faith in and trust.
