f#cking fat guys are gate keepers when they don't get wins, arreola.

if you won these fights you wou;dnt be a gate keeper. hell, you could even lose to these guys and still be a guy they bring onto the networks if you weren't a fat guy.

prove me wrong and show up in shape. 242 lbs and soft is not in shape.

If Seth Mitchell wins he gets a shot against the best contenders in the division. If Seth loses he remains on the fringe.....umm.....that's the definition of a gate keeper. Chris Arreola....you are a gatekeeper.

Honestly. Arreola is what Seth Mitchell will become with a loss tonight.

I laughed when I read the title and didn't even bother reading the article.

Arreola is probably still a colourful fringe contender rather than a gatekeeper right now; but if he loses to Mitchell then he'll be definitely marked down as the guy who gets paid handsomely to give the up-and-coming guys a serious workout and he'll be fighting in their backyards and whenever they click their fingers. And that'll be gatekeeping.

He's right on the cusp of becoming a useful name on someone's record and the kind of guy you need to beat to graduate to a top 10 ranking.

The weird thing about Arreola is that you can make a case for him beating Mitchell and getting back right into the mix. He's properly aggressive, brave, strong and has fast hands and I like the way he puts people under pressure.

Let's hope he has trained properly for a change with lots of running, a decent diet and no distractions outside the gym. If he actually comes to the ring with enough stamina in the bank to fight aggressively then he'll beat Mitchell.

Arreola has talent; he must do to compete whilst being so out of shape. He really is a small heavyweight but weighing in at 242. He could probably even be a great cruiserweight

Chris loss a lot of weight. Thats shows he is focused and dont wanna be the gatekeeper. He thinks he is better than that and knows he was his only worst enemy. Losing that weight shows he was working hard and committing to doing better. The fat still on his body takes time to tone up. Some times it takes surgery. Despite what people think, he dedicated himself to doing better and taking care of himself better. For the reason of being a better fighter. We will find out tonight how much he deicated himself in the ring. IMO Seth will be KOd fast.

Honestly, I think Chris is just one of those guys that's naturally fat. Not everyone can look like an "athlete." That's in the genes. Sure Arreola can stand to lose some weight, but the best he'll ever look is "skinny-fat."

I've always liked arreola, his style and everything...and as far as ppl saying he's always gonna be fat, he looks pretty trim in his recent photos, and those photos are only a week or 2 old...prolly weighs 220, and while he'll prolly never be "ripped" at least he's in better shape then we've seen him

arreola's own trainer and friend henry ramirez says arreola has bad training habits and eating habits. they're well documented.

genetics my ass. the guy is fat because of what he eats and how he trains, in that order.

he does not / cannot even run.

not everybody is going to look like evander holyfield, but to think that chris arreola is anywhere near peak condition is f#cking laughable.
