I'm sure he still got Rigo, Cuban fighters that are fortunate enough to turn pro would definitely wanna link up with Pedro.
Not a big fan of Robert Garcia either

Nacho has always been the best trainer IMO. Besides Marquez he doesn't have a lot of big name fighters. Thats what I like and respect about the man is he rather build some young fighters he sees something in that go after big name fighters. He turned down De La Hoya because he wanted him to exclusively train Oscar. He was training the Marquez brothers and new they would both be champs and turned down one of the biggest names in the sport and the most money he would've made. It ended up being a great decision. And he still does it. He has a bunch of young fighters still like Ceja and Orucuta just to name two. There's more I can't think of off hand.

IMO Garcia and Roach were always way overrated. They just get a lot of credit because of the the big name fighters they have had. But roach had a bad run and IMO Garcia doesn't look that great either. Rios and his little bro can't even make weight for some big fights. It makes me wonder about the discipline in that gym. I also think Donaire and Garcia were overlooking Rigo which was a huge mistake and they paid dearly.

Nacho seems a clear first. The real question is, who's second? I like Pedro Diaz, but I don't know if he's behind Nacho. Robert Garcia? Definitely not a fan. You take a top-five P4P guy like Donaire (just one example) and bring that to a fight with Rigo? Please....

Unless your in the gym with a trainer you have NO idea of his abilties!!
Many times fighters change traners to the point of not knowing who develped the fghter!
You have boxing trainers that excell in teaching youngsters the basics and they can most times do it better tha a well known cornerman who works wih alot of fighters.
Then you have a trainer who can get more out of aseasoned pro because he knows how to push a variety of buttons!
Years ago you had great "outside" trainers and "inside" guys too! Now a days the newer younger trainers don't know the old school pivots and how to teach proper techniques using shoulders and hips! It will be a lost art soon enough! Then pro boxing and amatuer boxing will resemble themselves!
Hell the pro refs handle pro fights like its an amatuer bout!
I like Ronnie Sheilds he does a nice job.
If you have a good pressure guy without alot of skills Roach is very good.

Heres a few guys I knew when they were amatuers, I know their backgrounds and watchd them grow into fighters and trainers, they're good!
The best I know of would be me! hahahah!!!! Lots used to come to me get right!!!! Ray

Nacho has been doing his thing.
Zaragoza was the oldest sbw champion in history. The man fought everyone and couldn't even punch. He went far for a guy with no power.

Gilberto Roman was also a very good fighter with great technique.

Finito Lopez was also one of the greatest straw weights of all time. And a one fighter with great technique.
