Hell no...he hasnt faced a legitmate welterweight since he beat Cotto and Clottey years ago....he could start by facing a welterweight who isnt moving up or washed up like some of his last few opponents like Bradley, Marquez, Mosley and Rios.

Thats a little too much to ask of Manny, he is a junior welterweight who moon lights as a welterweight. He won a vacant title at junior middleweight at a catchweight against an unranked opponent. Its not gonna happen. Barker would stop him in the first 5 rounds.

The Pacquiao that fought Margarito could do it

Hes too fast for Barker and would bust him up with combinations on the inside and then circle him and theres nothing Barker could do.

Still this wouldn't be a fair fight cuz Barker would outweigh Pac by at least 30 pounds

Manny would be too quick for barker. I'll say Manny would get the W!

Didn't you create a thread crying about Pac aiming for JMM and Bradley and not real welters like Guerrero, Ortiz, Lopez, Alexander, Maidana, Broner?

Hot ****, amongst all the threads started by Floyd nuthuggers, *******s, and Canelo-has-an-ATG-snake-(and-it's-apparently-stuffed-in-your-mouth) ****heads, you hit me with an intriguing question. Thank you for that, sir.

Any version of Pac prior to his last fight would definitely have a chance; now, I think we have to see how he fares against Rios. If he wins convincingly - preferrably by KO after eating some good shots just to prove he still has a chin - I'd say a fight with Barker would be awesome to see. I could see a catchweight or re-hydration limit being completely fair and within the bounds of what Barker would be willing to do for a big payday (far larger than anything he'd find at middleweight at the moment).

Wouldn't it not be fair on the basis of Pac being too fast and too good?

lol 158lb catchweight, 168lb rehydration limit. I think he would do it and Eddie Hearn would probably be up for it but Arum and Roach likely wouldn't.
