Pacquaio was outstanding timing Morales' left hand. That's why Morales found it very hard to do a repeat of the first match. He was on constant look out for both hands because both did tremendous damage this time around.
What's worse for Erik is that Manny was mixing up his punches giving him angles and also mixing up his targets to the head and body as well. Not only did Erik not know where Manny's punches were coming from, he didn't know where they were gonna land.
With Pacquiao's right suddenly becoming a bona fide threat, Erik's boxing skills were negated and his fight plan of their first encounter was rendered useless and thrown out of the window. Erik wasn't merely out-brawled, he was also out-boxed.
That is an amazing body shot. Credit to Manny for making great adjustments for the rematch. As I said in the other thread - the Morales that came out for the 6th, wasnt the same fighter who went to his corner at the end of the 5th. And Pacquiao bashed the **** out of Morales in the 6th. I KNEW the fight was lost for Erik, and he was gonna get stopped, in the 7th round. In the first minute, Erik came back after the bad 6th round, then Pacquiao swamped him again. Right there, I knew he had nothing left.
someobne outha post a gift of that overrighthand/hook Manny landed before the (few sec) 1st KD. That shyt was UNSEEN! I think that punch destroyed Morales chin. LOL!!!!!!! that may have contributed the KD.
