Good post but i noticed that there's a name missing in your article..john molina jr., i know his lack of experience cost him against demarco on his last intent for the title but he's won his last couple of fights by knockout and showed a hell of a heart against mickey bey in his last fight. The lightweight division needs exciting fighters like him to ****e it up, molina needs and deserves another shot at the title.....hopefully he'll get the winner of burns vs beltran...either one would be a good fight with molina jr.

Castillo/Corrales 1 was the greatest fight I've ever had the privilege of seeing. They bared their souls in there that night from Round 1 to 10 and neither were the same again. What they did in that ring that night will echo in eternity. Both legends. R.I.P Chico..

Ricky Burns had his chance to fight Miguel Vazquez, but he chickened out and blamed Frank Warren instead of just admitting that he was too worried about losing his belt to the best lightweight champion Miguel Vazquez. Ricky Burns has not faced tough opponents like Saul Alvarez and Timothy Bradley, Miguel Vazquez went the distance against both of these guys, Ricky Burns would probably get knocked out by them both. Ricky Burns does not have the speed and boxing intelligence to match Miguel Vazquez. A smart boxer will always beat a head hunting brawler, after all, this is the sport of boxing, not the sport of brawling, and Miguel Vazquez is the true number 1 lightweight champion of the world.
