Comments Thread For: Floyd Mayweather To Consider UK Shows/Fight in 2014

Floyd Mayweather has again expressed his desire to fight in England if he defeats Saul Alvarez on September 14. Mayweather, who is set to earn a record guaranteed purse of $41.5 million dollars, puts his 44-fight unbeaten record on the line against the exciting young Mexican and victory will enhance his reputation as the top fighter in the sport.

The American superstar has spoken before about a possible bout in London and has fresh ties with this country after Ashley Theophane, the former British light-welterweight champion, joined Mayweather Promotions.

Probably right - That would be unfortunate. Nobody wants to see a 3 round fight.

I tell u what though, Floyd might get his first real ko in years, but Khans speed and movement will make it a good fight.

Is it weird that I think Khan would be a real tough fight for Floyd?

No! It's not weird. I also think Khan is a tough fight for Floyd.

I think Khan's speed, conditioning and work rate give Floyd fits.

I actually think Khan beats Floyd. No joke.

Hey Floyd needs at least one easy fight/feather fisted guy to fight. If Khan looks good and wins against alexander then hed be perfect to fight in england and easy win.

He won't be fighting in the UK if Khan doesn't win.
