Gatti was at the end of his tether and not fighting at his best weight. Alvarez is in his early 20s and fighting at his 'own' weight class (well, kind of). Mayweather couldn't even 'Gatti' Guerrero at 147, nevermind the #1 154lber in the world when he (Floyd) has never looked particularly good at the weight.

Gatti was slow and severely over matched. Mayweather seemed pissed off that night for some reason. I don't think he has the same disdain for Canelo as he did for Gatti. Not to mention he was younger and in his true prime. No "Gatti" for Canelo but he could get "Ortiz'd"Comment

It's possible Floyd would be going to be Berto'ed in this fight, Guerrero style. It's going to be brutal. Floyd will end up running like a chicken.
There's a reason why Floyd tried to duck this fight. Showtime finally said, "Hell NO!"
