Trout vs Angulo, who'd win?

I would favor Trout but it would be by far his toughest fight to date. Trout would have to make Angulo respect his power during the fight. He would also need to throw an authoritative jab and not flick it like he did against Canelo. As a really big JMW, I think Trout would be able to absorb Angulo's punches and win a UD. He just needs to make sure his stamina is top notch.Comment

Canelo and Cotto who have much faster feet, better footwork struggled to get Trout where they wanted him, so how does an even slower Angulo compete? I like Trout comfortably.Comment

Angulo was absolutely relentless versus Lara. If he could bring that kind of heat versus Trout, the outcome is far from certain. But, for the record, I voted Trout.Comment

Because Cotto was too small to get physical with Trout, and Alvarez never tried. Angulo would be able to bully Trout, and it's a question of what Trout does then.
I think Trout wins as well, but those aren't two fights I'd use as my case as why.Comment

It's a good barometer, and Trout will continue moving or keep it in the middle of the ring. The reason Angulo had success against Lara was because Lara moved straight back and forth, same pattern.Comment

If he brought that same heat, he still wouldn't compete. Angulo has nothing in his possession that would trouble Trout, he's unathletic, plain slow, he may try to compensate with sheer will but that won't get him no where against Trout. Trout is too much of a pure boxer, Rodriguez struggled to get off, Cotto struggled especially in the second half, Canelo struggled as well despite winning clearly in my opinion. So because he has a strong will and moves forward I'm supposed to believe he does anything with Trout, I don't think so man.Comment

I wouldn't have believed it either against Lara, but it happened. If it happened to Lara, it could happen to Trout. If he brought that same heat, he still wouldn't compete.
