Check this out, the latest Kameda fight is number one on Japanese google trends. Usually indicates tens of millions will be watching. The last fight pulled around 16 million average, this could be even bigger.

Japan is the most underrated boxing hub. People don't associate Japan with boxing, but it's bloody huge there.

It is huge there and they produce great fighters. It's just so underrated cos we in the UK or the US don't have an audience for guys under 135 unless he's a home grown talent.

but there's always good fights going on in the lower weights
watch a bunch of good fights on youtube from the little guys
the networks could stand to pay a bit more attention to them

Yeah, like Soul said above people don't realise that Japan is a very strong boxing nation. I believe they have 8 world champions, or at least hold 8 belts.
