Fighters that were "almost" stopped don't raise their hands thinking they won after the final bell

Quit exaggerating about Floyd's measly power

His bodyshots were excellent, and I think this will really hurt Canelo. Having taken off that much weight will inevitably not be the most comfortable thing for Canelo to take into the ring.

      Any chance of a stoppage?
Did you see the part where light-punching Guerrero caught Floyd flush with a big shot in the corner? If that happens v Canelo, I'd be surprised if Floyd's not KO'd.

Just sounds like every fight Floyd is involved his team always talk about how small he is and ...like they always have to have an excuse laid out a few weeks before the fight just in case he actually does lose.

Will Floyd dare push Canelo, i doubt it. Canelo may end up surprising Floyd. Keep it safe don't get Canelo to worked up and once the 152 pounds effect resonates it when Floyd starts with the stick and move routine.

I just watched May-Guerrero earlier today, as well. I don't think Guerrero was hurt at all honestly, but you could clearly see the expression of discouragement on his face after round 8.

If Mayweather knocked out Canelo, it'd be a bigger shocker than Ward-Dawson (at the time).

I watched that fight earlier. I don't think Guerrero was close to being stopped. but he looked visibly flustered. He would jab his way in, occasionally throw the lead left and Floyd adapted to it. He didn't have the speed of foot to keep Floyd trapped which I also believe will be Canelo's downfall.

On weigh in, he was 153.5 vs Trout. Dropping another 1.5 pounds isn't going to make him vulnerable to being stopped by Floyd.

If it was at 147 it would be like the Dawson Ward or Hoya Pac fights. Yet, it's at JMW so Alvarez won't be in an unfamiliar territory.

However, saying that I have never been one for catchweight title fights. I'm just glad its at JMW and not at WW as a KO/TKO could be looked at for a Floyd win IMO.
