If he was hurt why would he get right up and not be wobbly after each knock down? Don't chinny fighters stay down aka, knocked out?

You didn't watch it apparently. Anyways, you're not the person who belongs in this thread. Give an opinion on the subject.

Either version of Wlad would most likely beat Morrison imo. He was a good solid fighter with an excellent left hook and good heart. But that's where it stops tbh.

Wlad is better than he ever was in pretty much every department.

I agree with the exception of throwing the left hook.

My only reserve is that ultra aggressive guys Lamont Brewster and Corrie Sanders got to Wlad before his 'renaissance' and maybe Tommy could have as well.

I think when your talking about fighters who have both been stopped and have such high ko percentages, it is hard to exclude any possibility. Wlad is the much more proven fighter, but on his day tommy could also box disciplined, as seen in his fight against big George. You have to believe wlad would always be the favirote but tommys power always gives him at least a shot against anyone.

Wlad used to throw an awesome left hook before he turned to the amateur style on high level. Wlad pretty much does everything in the book to perfection - and that's just being honest. I'm not a big fan of his by any means but he's a good example as a perfect textbook boxer. He's very technically sound.

Of course at heavyweight anyone has a chance. But being realistic, I would say Wlad would beat Tommy, but of course it only really takes one punch.

I agree with everything you say here.

I just can't help but like Tommy's chances prior to the Wlad evolution when he became pretty much unbeatable. He used to open up and was open to counters himself. If Tommy landed that left hook, it would have been lights out. If you get time, go and youtube Morrison highlights. You will see one of the hardest left hooks ever.

Note* Wladimir Klitschko is my second favorite heavyweight right now after his brother.

Well you can say that about a lot of match ups. If David Haye landed the right hand, if Mercer landed, Byrd, Rahman etc. Anyone at heavyweight can KO anyone at heavyweight if they land their favourite punch perfectly.

And I know Wlad has lost a couple of fights, but he also beat some fighters that I think are probably better than Morrison, before he teamed up with Steward. And Morrison has been knocked out by guys I would probably rank below Wlad in terms of both skill and standing. His best wins are an old Foreman - who, let's be honest, was limited but still tough as nails, and a slighly past it Ruddock, but nevertheless a good fighter. If he'd beaten Wlad at any stage he would command to be Morrison's best win.

                    Wlad destroys Morrison
Morrison was chinny himself, and a lesser puncher, and a lesser boxer
Wlad would get rid of Morrison quickly and easily
pounds him to death with the jab, finds the right hand, ends it

Unless he jumped on Wladimir and caught him cold in the first minute of the fight I don't see him beating any version of Klitscko. I'm sorry, but Morrison didn't have good stamina and his heart was questionable IMO. May he rest in peace but let's not try and reinvent the man because he passed. He had a good, ableit short run even beating Big George Forman. His record in boxing will stand on it's own.
