Comments Thread For: Collazo vs Sanchez Early Results From San Antonio

The fight was relatively even, with Martinez rocked towards the end of the fourth round. A second straight disastrous homecoming was averted, however, when Quevedo opted to remain on his stool prior to the start of round five. A shoulder injury was cited as the reason for his being unable to continue. [Click Here To Read More]

Collazo was just landing shots at will.

Very happy was worried coming in that it would be a case of a rising young fighter being too much for the sliding former champ but it's great to see Collazo getting in the mix with a good win

Completely disagree with Donovan. Collazo made the kid look like an amateur. The scores were about right, it was a clinic as far as I'm concerned.

I forgot about the fights last nite. It's good to see Collazo still has a little something left in the tank.

The difference in experience was the deciding factor. I was shocked they threw that kid in there with Collazo. Sanchez is so green, he's a good athlete but he's so raw.

Collazo made this novice fighter look like a novice fighter. He needs to step up his game, wasn't impressed.

Collazo HAS stepped his game many times before this and got him no win decision over Berto and Hatton who he clearly beat!

I am glad to see him with something left at this stage of his career.
