My chin has never been tested because I've never been in a ring with a fighter. Matthysse has been in 36 professional fights and the fact that nobody found his chin with a flush punch only speaks of his ability to avoid such punches. Danny Garcia was hurt in his fight with Judah; I've never seen Lucas hurt. Judah dominated Garcia in the last three rounds of their bout, I've never seen Lucas dominated by anyone. I think the biggest mistake the Garcia's camp can make is to think, as Angel put it, that Matthysse is a bum whose power has been overrated. Peterson was doing fairly well in the first and second rounds but in the third he started to trade, not wanting to be less than Lucas, and that was the end. Soto and Olusegun also wanted to trade, we know what happened. Only Judah and Alexander avoided trading with Lucas and they did very well.
The problem for the Garcia camp is that Lucas is a better boxer and they don't want to admit it. Peterson started trading with Lucas because when he was boxing, he wasn't winning. I just don't see how Garcia can win but then again, I expected the Peterson/Matthysse fight to go 12 rounds.
