My coach once told me a story about a fellow amateur fighter in Jamaica who had pretty bad technique but almost unlimited stamina. He would just go nuts at the ringing of the bell and throw hard punches for all two minutes of a round in an amateur fight, or in sparring. During roadwork he would run like crazy, really sloppy with terrible form, but pass by everyone with ease.
Well one day my coach goes to the bathroom in the gym and this guy is in there, doing a line of coke!
ITs interesting cause coke, while making you aggressive does not really make your stamina go up, in fact if you become too active, you got a really big chnace of getting a heart attack.
