    WBO super middleweight champion Robert Stieglitz (45-3, 26 KOs) will make a voluntary defense of his world titleon October 19th against WBO number 7 ranked Isaac Ekpo (22-1, 16 KO's) from Nigeria. The fight is going to take place in Leipzig, Germany. Ekpo, unbeaten since 2008 and winner of his last 18, has spent his entire career in Nigeria and Ghana. Based on his record he is taking a serious step up in class with the champion. Stieglitz will have to face mandatory challenger Arthur Abraham next in a trilogy bout.

      It's just as much of a joke that Abe gets yet another shot at him, though. Wasn't Stieglitz lined up to fight Groves last year? Shame it never happened.

            Another dangerous defense for king Robert, he is really on a hot streak. Ward needs to stop ducking him its becoming shameful.

                Stieglitz is the SMW kingpin until Ward proves otherwise, he should stop hiding out in Oakland.

                  I agree. I was being facetious to illustrate the absurdity of the Andre Ward mystique.

                  There's no reason why Ward can't travel to Europe to fight the top talent in the SMW division
