GGG is a beast but I think if they fought at 170 Kovalev would probably win.

How long ago did they spar? Kov is a big guy, I'm sure he'd be up for a fight now. Personally I just wana see Kovalev v Hopkins, the last legit threat left in his career.Comment

What you have said makes no sense because I very much doubt Sanchez is attempting to make a match up between Middleweight Golovkin and Light Heavyweight Kovalev. When Roach talks smack it is to either goad someone in the ring with his man, hype up the fight or is an honest evaluation. Sanchez's comments seem to be an honest evaluation.Abel Sanchez really is the new Freddie Roach.
You get these polite foreign boxers coming across representing themselves well and they land with ish-talking American trainers talking smack on their behalf.
Hatton v Pacquiao is a good example, both guys were respectful to one another but their US trainers made the whole thing about them talking disrespectful.
I appreciate what Sanchez said here wasn't so bad, but it's another example as he's said stuff before.
Obviously and he'd be right to even if what Sanchez said was true.Comment

No way they fight. There would be absolutely no reason for that. Not only is GGG two divisions below Krusher, but both men have the opportunity to clean out their divisions and be the top dog. A catchweight fight, for example, between these two guys will do nothing but shorten the careers of both guys.
A hell of a fantasy fight, though.Comment

Not long ago. They spar at big bear, not sure if it was before Cleverly or the fight before that.Comment

Is that why he said Cotto should retire years after Pacquiao had beaten him with a silly grin on his face? They talk ish bro, they can't help themselves. What you have said makes no sense because I very much doubt Sanchez is attempting to make a match up between Middleweight Golovkin and Light Heavyweight Kovalev. I dunno man, Sanchez saying Kovalev respected Gennady too much to spar effectively, especially after interviews with Kovalev recognizing how tough and hard Gennady hits personally, It kinda all adds up as a truthful statement. I've kinda always seen Sanchez as a "speaks his mind" kinda guy who doesn't really throw around words with bad intention like some coaches.Abel Sanchez really is the new Freddie Roach.

WOW......I find that hard to believe......Frankenstein seems to be more beastly than GGG imo....but hey Abel doesn't seem like the type of man to make something like that up......very interesting.....can't wait to hear a response from Frankenstein and his teamComment
