I can see both sides. Ward is right in saying that E-Rod hasn't earned big paydays, but from E-Rod's perspective he's going in against the best fighter in the world, why shouldn't he get paid for taking on the best?

This would be an easy lay up comeback fight for Ward. Rodriguez just made a good payday and is avoiding the sure loss. HBO could surely spend that 3 mil on something much more entertaining than this.

Rodriguez is the second best North American SMW coming off a great win, it's a good fight. Not really understanding the negativity from some.

Froch isnt a fight worth seeing, he beat him with ONE hand last time CONVINCINGLY. Chavez Jr only because mexicans will watch but thats NO COMPETITION. GGG is definitely not ready and they need to let him fight more bums to build the anticipation.

Nobody is pining to watch Ward fight Caleb Truax. Ward's career is languishing, and it's not like he was exciting to watch in the first place.

Ward's last two fights weren't boring (Froch, Dawson), fighters are only as good as their last performance these days and he seemed to be entertaining before he got injured.
