If he were to be knocked out, either early from the last KO etc...or late after not getting off to a good start I picked 8th.

Rios is almost too good of an opponent which somehow makes me wonder, if Rios can take the shots and throws back as he has in the past as a brawler type fighter he could possibly last and get lucky and score a KO.

If Manny is somehow damaged from the KO in the way Jones was after his Big KO then it would seem more likely that Rios would get it early...but there is no reason to assume Manny cannot take the punch yet, he's been Ko'd before and went on to face better fighters and KO them so, Manny has some reasoning that he may be ok. However, if he cannot take a punch good any longer and gets caught early that would be reasonable...only if it's apparent he cannot take the shots at all.

Frankly, as long as Manny gets off to a good start and wears Rios down Manny should KO him by 4-7, the good start part is what seems worrisome. He hasn't seemed to get off to a good start in a long time, but not that real good start he used to get almost everytime. back then JMM was the only guy he had trouble with, since then he has struggled against lesser fighters and seemed to not be as enthused by it as he used to be, which is why he struggled IMO...Bottom line if Manny isn't ready it will be costly for him professionally, if he can get off to a good start look sharp and KO rios...boom the huge pay day is back, if Floyd has any trouble with Canelo and Manny wins by one sided KO that would be enough to make the fight interesting again...but if Manny struggles or god forbid is KO'd the fight is off forever, the money is too big to ignore and losing this fight would really take what steam is left for the fight and eliminate it.

I am interested to see how he looks and if he can get off to a good start, the good start is paramount in Manny winning this fight in the way he needs to win it, to either get Floyd or force a Bradley or JMM rematch, then he needs to get off to a good start, bad start and Manny VS Timmy for no belt is what we are left with.

Yeh Larry, because you being the boxing sage that you are, know exactly how Manny is going to be after that KO loss. Boxing doesnt work like that, Rios is a very tough fighter and is way better than you paint him(though you're a flomboner, so that figures).

I think Manny is pretty much done now and has been for a little while, and whilst I expect him to win, I think he may find this a little tougher than most people are assuming.

I didn't see the "Robert is gonna throw in the towel, because an ass whooping is headed Rios direction" option.

if it happens, it will happen late
Rios doesn't hit hard enough to end Pac with 1 shot
it would be after dishing out a prolonged beating Pac can't handle
if Rios stops him, it's around 8 or 9, accumulated punishment TKO

This is supposed to be a comeback tune up fight for Manny.

If he can't blow out this kid early, he's got a long road ahead.
