The sparring partner won that session, although I'm guessing GG wasn't going hard. Still, he took enough shots to the head(gear) that he can't afford to take against Stevens. Looks kind of 'big' at the moment too. Only the start of camp I guess. -

He was not looking to land punches, He may have been just looking for holes to spring on. If you look at him sparring, he never spars hard, and is just looking to get his timing toned. It would not do him any good to start throwing cannons and knocking guys out in sparring.Comment

Yea, he usually takes a lot of punches when he does that. I think he took just as much when he was sparring Enis.
I guess so since he just started and hes trying to get a feel for everything.
He's also getting a lot more punches thrown at him too since he's not throwing anything and just catching punchesComment

Some of his sparring sessions he spends throwing like 10 punches and trying to avoid the rest.
This is like the opposite of the stories we here of him crunching peopleComment
