Former WBA interim cruiserweight champion Valery Brudov continued his progression as a light heavyweight. An hour ago, the 36-year old multi-time world title challenger at 200lbs scored a dominating win over no-hoper Jevgenijs Andrejevs (7-54, 1 KO) over six rounds as a part of a big open-air MMA show in Krasnogorsk, Russia. Brudov easily dominated every round but failed either to rock an ultra-durable Latvian or to put him down to sleep. All scorecards were identical: 60-54 - for the Russian veteran, whos record will now be boosted up to 41-4, with 28 KOs. It's to be noted, that Andrejevs has been stopped just four times in 54 losses, including one to Ismayl Sillakh. Igor Sudelainen promoted this fight.
