CompuBox Stats last 5 fights MAYWEATHER/ALVAREZ

Many people are saying Mayweather's speed and defense will be to much for Alvarez to overcome and how Alvarez will be easy work like guerrero and ortiz however, by analyzing compuBox stats for the fighters previous 5 fights and "numbers dont lie" I believe Alvarez's speed and defense is underrated in my opinion Mayweather is taking a risk for this fight due to pressure by shotime with the not so impressive numbers he did with the ghost he had to take this risk which I think might end up biting him in his buttocks. Alvarez is saying all the right things in his interviews oozing with confidence. If Alvarez is able to implement his strategy and the lessons cultivated in Mayweather’s solid fights against castillo, cotto , delahoya and put it all together using intelligence, speed, power and defensive skills Alvarez should walk out of this match with is hand raised. check out what don king had to say what alvarez brings to the table http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E-PwebNO9aU
my previous posts I said May made a great business decision in choosing to fight guerrero who is a D class fighter again nothing against the ghost check out my previous post about may vs guerrero I still believe mayweather's experience should be enough to have his hands raised at the end but if i had to choose a fight where he had a chance to lose this one would be it. I also included CompuBox when Alvarez and Mosley fight May what do you guys think?

    Good post.

But you've entitled the May fight as Canelo, and vice versa...the wrong way round.

    It's upsetting me.

It doesn't matter man, Canelo is too young, too green, and just a b level boxer. He is probably one of the biggest hypejobs in the sport right now, beat up a bunch of welters and MExican cabbies. Money destroys him in the worst way, KO in 3 rounds. You don't believe me? Just ask around in NSB, posters will tell ya about it.

If you think Mayweather KO's Canelo, you're a very... VERY small minority.

Mayweather will win on points, that's the only outcome.

Canelo by no means is a push over he has a whole nation behind him no nation will be behind someone like that not even marquez had that type of following during his career.

No way man, Canelo will tire out in 3 rounds and then Floyd will treat him like an imitation heavy bag. KO in 3 4 rounds tops. Dude should really be fighting at 168 anyhow, he's always picking on smaller guys.

Mosley landed 41% of his power punches, that puts his defence slightly above Margarito and Mayorga's.
