KO loss rematches are not pointless but what makes Donaire-Darchynian rematch pointless is that it is several years too late and 2 divs up.

Mares-Gonzales is an immediate rematch. Same division and no losses in between fights.

Mares/gonzo 2 is by far the worst of the 2! Mares got his clock cleaned.
Flash/Darch might be a few years later but they are both moving up in weight and want the fight! Everybody said gonzo was washed up and didn't give him a chance. Then boom, the left hook lands and mares was left thinking he shouldnt have left nacho! Don't watch it if you hate it so much

I don't blame Donaire because he's coming off a loss and an injury and Darchinyan is a grown man. If he wants it, let him have it. But it's really ****** and I don't want to see it. I ain't watching this either. I just hope GB or the UFC has something on that night. The Bellator ppv is the week before, would have been perfect had it been on the 9th instead of the 2nd.
